I have decided that layaways are needed for people who future-shop. Sometimes you see an item that you wish to buy for someone and you do not have the funds; but you do not want to let that item get away because you know that it is one of a kind, and when the time comes for that gift; you may not be able to find the item elsewhere. I do not charge extra for this service however the underlying rules do apply:
Layaways are available for up to 6 months. You may have up to six items on layaway at any given time. There is a 20% non-refundable deposit; and the rest will be divided into 6 monthly payments for you. (This is because I have taken it from the sales shelf; and by charging the 20% I have insured that you are serious about your purchase; and I am covered for the time I may have been able to sell it; so I will not refund the 20% or any payments in excess if you have not squared your account to date by the second month you are delinquent. You can pay once a month using the paypal setup on this webpage. The layaway items can be credited in any particular order; as long as the 20% is attached, I will consider multiple items as interchangeable under your name. As each item is added to the list; we will consolidate the remainder of the other items and divide them by 6 months; so your payments will change and I will send you a confirmation at that time if it should occur. ie: If your balance is $20.00 on January 2010, and your payment is $3.33 cents a month, and in february you want to add another item at $35.00 and you have put down 20% of that item which would be $7.00; your remaining balance would be $48.00. Your payments would be for 6 months @ $8.00. Now whatever you have paid in excess of the original 20% for each item; your payments can be applied to any item you wish to pay off. If domestic, each item at that time would be charged a $5.50 shipping charge that would be due too; and if international, it is 12.50usd. If you pay off two or more items off at that time, your shipping charge would not increase. However, if you decided to pay them one at a time, you would be charged a shipping charge for each time I have to ship; which is only fair. If you are past due for 2 months in a row, I will consider the item abandoned unless you email me and make further arrangements. My email address is: deadliest.nightshade@gmail.com. By adding your full name to this layaway form you are agreeing to the above terms. If you wish to pay this off earlier, you may do so at no charge. There is no charge for layaway but a forfeit of the original 20% deposit...and all of the payments you have already made.if you do not follow through on our agreement. Otherwise when the other 80% of the purchase price is paid; the 20% will be added to it and you will have your item shipped to you within 3 days. Please indicate your agreement to the terms by stating your full name below and make your 20% deposit to begin your layaway contract. I will send you reciepts if you do not use paypal.
as an example: 1 item @ 25.00
1 item @ 40.00
1 item @ 25.00
total amount would be 90.00
the total deposit for these 3 items would be: 18.00
Your remaining balance would be: 72.00
your payments would be: 12.00 a month for 6 months, and each time you needed me to ship, it would be an additional 5.50 (if you shipped more than one item, the shipping charges would remain the same).
You can apply the payments to whichever item you want to; only remember that the items that you are not paying off will always have the 20% placed on them first before applying it to the item you wish to be shipped. This is non-negotiable.
If you add an item, the 6 months would begin again and your payment would change by adding the remaining balance and the additional item minus the 20% of that item. This way you could keep a running balance and each month I can send you a statement on your balance..including any new items and the new terms of your payments.
This could be pretty handy at Christmas time or holidays where you may have to spend money elsewhere. It is also nice for birthday gift giving because you can pull whichever item out that you need at the time. Either item #1 or item#6. It is all going to get paid eventually, or you will lose your money in 2 months of defaulting.
Just remember that if you do not follow through on your payments and are not totally square by the second month, you will lose all of the money that you have placed on your layaway items unless there is a very large reason because your payments are not that high. It is not a credit card, and you are not being charged anything other that what you would have been charged 6 months prior. Please ask ahead of time if you have any questions on this offer.
