This is not a great picture, but I am the one behind the camera, and I just wanted you to know that I am lifting and grunting just like the 3 guys that I am working with. My husband Carlos, Tom(who is also bulding there), and Wes,(the owner of the 250 acres). He is SCA and is planning to have events on the land; and we are building a commune for various reasons...but mainly to see if we can do it! You will have to start out with Cinderblocks, 4x4's; 2x4's, A table saw, 2 electic drills, 15 gallon drum with water, shovels levels, measuring tapes, pens and markers;cement, a work space (we used a flatbed trailer); Screws; a post hole drill, an ATV of sorts(preferably with a roof...; and some kind of trailer to haul wood and tools behind you.; a Generator, and..OH.. and Alot of Water, and what Wes Labeled "work beer" which is low alchohol content. It is used for O.C.D. people (like the 3 guys I am with). It enables them to deal with A.D.D. people (like me). It is best to take one of these very important breaks in Oklahoma as ticks fly through the trees and land on you constantly. So you will look like a group of monkeys every hour and a half drinking beer and picking fleas of of yourself...Especially clearing that trail first with a Machete. That is why it is better with 4 people because you cant be in 2 places at once. We got this done in 2 days on a 3 day trip. It is wonderful knowing how to do this because it empowers you. If things get nuts and you have to "HEAD FOR THE HILLS', you really will know how to handle things. Oh, by the way....BRING A HAT AND BUG SPRAY!
